A Study on Methodology for the Development of Augmented Reality Contents for Design Education

Augmented reality transfers information from the virtual world to the real world using a computing technology and is being studied most actively in the field of education. The key is how to use augmented reality technology to create practical contents. This research aims to deal with design education contents using augmented reality, focusing on design education contents. Existing studies have focused on case studies and technologies using augmented reality. However, this research aims to develop a methodology as a systematic study necessary for the development of contents using augmented reality, by analyzing the effects of actual augmented reality contents appearing in the learning process so that the augmented reality contents can provide basic data to prepare a plan to maximize learning achievement.
