Eman AbdElHaleem is from Egypt and works as an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Al-Azhar University, Egypt. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering and her Master’s degree in Tectonic Architecture and Interactive Spaces from Al-Azhar University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Architecture at the Graduate School of Architecture at Hanyang University and is a member of the Sensing Space Lab. As part of her academic journey in Korea, she is also studying the Korean language, where she has reached Level 5 and aims to continue improving her proficiency. She has also participated in the design and implementation of several architectural projects and buildings in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Her academic and professional interests focus on tectonic architecture and its theories, spatial perception, the relationship between architecture, culture, and human experience, as well as architectural pedagogy. Through her academic studies and professional experience in architecture, she has developed a strong interest in exploring how architectural space influences human perception, emotions, and social interaction. Her work also reflects a clear interest in architectural identity and the relationship between aesthetic expression and visual form in architecture. Her research interests include tectonic architecture, the relationship between architectural aesthetics and structural systems, architectural identity, and the interaction between humans and the built environment. In her free time, she enjoys art, drawing, exploration, contemplating nature, growing plants, learning new languages, and discovering different cultures.

이만 압둘할림 (Eman AbdElHaleem)은 이집트 출신으로, 이집트 알아즈하르대학교 공과대학 건축공학과에서 조교수(Assistant Lecturer)로 재직하고 있다. 그녀는 알아즈하르대학교에서 건축공학 학사 학위와 텍토닉 건축 및 인터랙티브 공간 분야의 석사 학위를 취득하였다. 현재 한양대학교 건축대학원에서 건축학 박사과정을 수행하고 있으며 Sensing Space Lab의 연구원으로 활동하고 있다. 또한 한국에서의 학업과 함께 한국어를 공부하고 있으며 현재 5급 수준에 도달하였고 앞으로도 지속적으로 실력을 향상시키고자 한다. 또한 이집트와 사우디아라비아에서 여러 건축 프로젝트와 건물의 설계 및 구현에 참여하였다. 그녀의 학문적·전문적 관심 분야는 텍토닉 건축 이론, 공간 인지, 건축·문화·인간 경험 사이의 관계, 그리고 건축 교육 방법에 있다. 학문적 연구와 건축 실무 경험을 통해 건축 공간이 인간의 인식, 감정, 그리고 사회적 상호작용에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 깊은 관심을 가지고 연구하고 있다. 또한 건축적 정체성과 건축에서의 미적 표현과 시각적 형태 사이의 관계에도 관심을 가지고 있다. 현재 그녀의 연구 관심 분야는 텍토닉 건축, 건축 미학과 구조 시스템의 관계, 건축적 정체성, 그리고 인간과 건축 환경 사이의 상호작용이다. 여가 시간에는 예술 활동과 드로잉, 탐험, 자연을 관찰하고 사색하는 것, 식물을 기르는 것, 새로운 언어를 배우고 다양한 문화를 이해하는 것을 즐긴다.
